I loved these cute hearts and knew I wanted to make some for my plate rack. I found this lovely coloured cotton from one of those cheap random shops for $2.50 and it worked well.
The pattern was a bit confusing and I changed it slightly. So in case you would like to make one, and for my reference here is what I did. Please refer to original instructions for any clarifications.
Small Heart Back
Round 1
Magic loop, 3ch, 14tr into loop, tighten loop, join with ss in top of ch3
Round 2
3ch, pBO in same st, ch2, skip next st [BO in next st, ch2] 3 times, skip next st, [BO, ch3, BO] in next st, ch2, skip next st, [BO in next st, ch2] 3 times, skip next st, pBO in next st, ch3, ss into same st as pBO
Round 3
Work in BL of every st. 1ch, dc in next and each st, around to half way point, 3dc in 2nd ch of ch3 of heart point, dc in each st to end, join with ss in both loops of ch1.
Cut yarn and hide ends

Joining the hearts
Face wrong sides of hearts together, and following instructions for round 4, join the two hearts working in the BL of each st
Round 4
Work in BL of every st, Ch1, *ss in next st, ch1, rep from * to end, join with ss in both loops of ch1
Connecting chain
Ch1, work relative number of ch to achieve desired length, then ss into the bottom of large heart once complete

Work in BL of every st, Ch1, *ss in next st, ch1, rep from * to end, join with ss in both loops of ch1

Large Heart Back
